Delete Your Account

Policy version 2026-07-31.2 · Effective date: July 31, 2026

Stitched Patterns is a service of Rendered Craftworks LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("Rendered Craftworks," "we," "us," or "our").

To request deletion, sign in and use Delete Account in your account settings. We require fresh reauthentication before processing the request. The deletion screen explains what will be deleted, what may be retained, what happens to permanent Gallery contributions, and how an active subscription is handled. Once you complete final confirmation and reauthentication, account deletion begins immediately. If you cannot access your account, contact [email protected] — for that manual fallback path, "a few business days" is our typical operational expectation, not a guaranteed deadline; actual timing can vary.

What Gets Deleted

What May Be Retained

Subscriptions Are Handled Separately From Deletion

Deleting your account does not, by itself, cancel an Apple or Google subscription, and uninstalling the app does not cancel one either — those are billed and managed entirely through the originating store (App Store or Play Store account settings), and Rendered Craftworks LLC generally cannot cancel them on your behalf. If your account has an active native subscription, deletion can still proceed, but billing may continue there until you cancel it directly through that store. If your account has an active RevenueCat Web Billing subscription (purchased through our own web checkout), we cancel its future renewal — normally effective at the end of your current paid period — as part of the deletion process itself, through RevenueCat's own systems; we don't automatically issue a refund for the current period. If your account instead has an active subscription billed directly through Stripe outside of RevenueCat, we don't currently have an automated way to cancel it as part of this process — deletion stops at a safe point rather than proceeding with unexpected billing left active, and you'll be given a Stripe billing support path to cancel it yourself. If we can't reliably identify and cancel a RevenueCat Web Billing subscription for any reason, deletion likewise stops at a safe point with a clear support path.

Permanent Gallery Contributions

If a pattern you generated was published to the public Pattern Gallery (see our Terms of Service, Section 9, and Privacy Policy), publishing was a permanent decision you affirmatively acknowledged — deleting your account does not remove that listing, and Rendered Craftworks LLC has no contractual obligation to remove it on your request, since other stitchers may already own a copy purchased in good faith. We do remove or anonymize unnecessary public account attribution as part of deletion; the listing, its files, and the license/acceptance evidence behind it are retained. Rendered Craftworks LLC retains its own discretion to remove a listing when reasonably necessary for legal, safety, intellectual-property, security, or operational reasons.

Your active account and profile data, and the private generated files tied to your account, are deleted or de-identified as described above. That said, like most online services, we don't promise an absolute, instantaneous erasure everywhere data has ever touched: residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, caches, security logs, or disaster-recovery systems, and are removed or overwritten in the normal course as those systems cycle. Any such residual data is not used for ordinary product purposes after your deletion request — it may only be accessed or retained longer where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, resolving a dispute, or another account's already-purchased access to a pattern (see "What May Be Retained" above). Records held by our payment/store processors (Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) follow those processors' own retention and deletion obligations and the terms of our service arrangements with them; we may request deletion where appropriate, but can't unilaterally direct a processor to erase records it's independently required to keep (for example, for its own tax or fraud-prevention compliance).

Deleting the App Instead

Uninstalling the Stitched Patterns app from your device does not delete your account or data, and does not cancel a subscription — it only removes the app. Use the steps above to request account deletion.
